Our Mission

BUILDING A STRONG NETWORK OF SUPPORT Autism is a world-wide health concern, but the real challenges occur at home, in our families, schools and neighborhoods. Formed in 2003, Northwest Autism Center exists to build, facilitate, and coordinate comprehensive services for those with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities through the lifespan, using community based approaches.

PROMOTING THE WORTH OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL. Each individual with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities living in the Inland Northwest will have access to early diagnosis and treatment; best practices in public education and healthcare; and the social supports necessary for optimal personal growth and the fullest level of participation within family and community.

Free Screening Service

Our qualified professionals provide free screenings across the lifespan

Day Treatment Service

Providing and building evidence based direct treatment services for individuals and families.

Community Based ABA

Northwest Autism Center provides comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment for individuals up to age 21 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other disabilities in home and community settings.

Speech and Language Treatment

Evidence-based therapy offered in both short-term and on-going treatment models. Treatment plans are individualized to meet each child’s needs.

Telehealth Services

Our parent and caregiver training program is also offered via telehealth.

Interprofessional Education

Providing learning opportunities across disciplines for university students, faculty, and practicing professionals to improve collaboration and quality of care.

Education & Training for Schools and the Community

Contributing key values, ideas and information to local, state, and national debates on caring for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities..

We intimately understand the challenges families are facing daily in caring for their loved ones and the increasing sense of isolation they may be experiencing during this very difficult time.
